# Mails
The **Compose** button opens a **pop-up window** over the app with the following form:
* **To** — type recipients here. As you type, saved **contacts** are suggested by name or email; you can add several recipients (each becomes a little chip). You can also just type an address that isn't in your contacts.
* **Subject** and **Message** — the email itself. The message has a character counter under it so you know how much room is left.
* **Attach**, **Add image**, and **Send** buttons at the bottom.
### **Attachments**
Clicking **Attach** opens a picker showing the files on your laptop (images, videos, documents). Select the ones you want — up to 5 — and they show as chips on the email; click the ✕ on a chip to remove it. Attachments are sent as a reference, and a copy only lands on the recipient's laptop when **they** choose to download it (and it won't duplicate if they download the same file twice).
### **Adding an image to the body**
**Add image** lets you paste an image URL to embed it inside the message. For safety the URL must come from an approved host — anything else is rejected with a message. Embedded images show up **small and blurred** in the received email (so nothing sensitive is exposed at a glance); the reader hovers to preview and clicks to open it full-size. There's a limit on how many images one email can carry.
### **Sending**
Hit **Send**. If something's missing (like no recipient) or an image host isn't allowed, you'll see a clear message; otherwise the window closes and the email is on its way.
