Fog

How it works?

The fog is calculated using the temperature and weather of each zone, the server will only use the values "normal", "low", and "medium" . The values "no fog", "automatic", "high" and "max" will be enabled only if the user selects them from the weather menu.

• Automatic: The server will calculate fog level using the temperature and weather on each zone, this is the default option.

• No Fog: Completely removes fog, no fog will be generated in the zone.

• Normal: The GTA 5 fog levels, the ones every other server and weather scripts uses.

• Low: Adds a little extra fog.

• Medium: Adds a little more fog than low option.

• High: Visibility is reduced a lot during night.

• Max: Welcome to Silent Hill, enjoy your stay.

What is Smart Fog?

Fog settings in "high" and "max" can look bad during the day, so enabling the SmartFog configuration will ensure that if it is daytime and the fog is set to maximum, it will be avoided and replaced with a medium level until nighttime, where the fog looks better.

Unless you have some sort of Silent Hill event during the day I suggest you to keep Smart Fog enabled 👍

Fog was tested with Natural Vision Evolved and with Vanilla GTA with max graphics, in both scenarios the fog looks good. If you or your users are using any other type of graphic mods and makes the fog looks bad, there's nothing I can do about it, please we aware of this.
